Betty Birney and Humphrey were very excited to meet Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall at Wimbledon Chase School, London for a brilliant World Book Day event. There were lots of Humphrey fans there, new and old, and to help celebrate the day lots of them were dressed up as their favourite characters. Betty spent quite a long time chatting to everyone and signing lots of the books!

Humphrey will be getting the royal treatment next week when the Duchess of Cornwall Camilla Parker Bowles attends Betty G. Birney's event in Wimbledon on Thursday 3 March! The Duchess will be helping to highlight World Book Day, Wimbledon Bookfest's brand new short story competition and, of course, Humphrey.
